Capsule Geology

The area of the Glacier 4 showing is underlain by rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. A grab of a quartz carbonate vein containing 3 per cent pyrite assayed 13.7 grams per tonne silver, 1.19 per cent zinc, 0.07 per cent copper and 0.05 per cent lead (Rock Sampling Data Sheet, Assessment Report 19783). The vein is contained in a shear within a mafic volcanic host.
